Your life isn't in pieces. Your apps are.

Swell keeps health, money and mind in one place and reads them back to you — with the entries behind every suggestion printed underneath.

Free while in early access. No card, no paywall.

A mock-up, not a recording. The tiles are the app's own, pixel for pixel.

The connection

Everything else shows you one area.

A food app knows what you ate. A banking app knows what you spent. Neither can tell you the two are the same decision. One place is only worth having when the areas can see each other — that is the whole reason Swell holds all three.

Sleep Workouts

Your longest two nights this fortnight both fell in your heaviest training week.

Spending Nutrition

You spent £42 on lunch this week. Swap Tuesday and Thursday and you'd hit your protein and save £18.

Meditation Sleep

Both meditation sessions were after 21:00 — and those were your two best nights.

Illustrative examples, like every figure on this site.

Everything it measures

Eighteen sub-areas, six to a pillar.

These are the app's own tiles, not drawings of them. Open Swell after this and it is visibly the same product.

Every figure below is an illustrative example. These are the app's own tiles, drawn with sample data.

Ahead or in range Slipping Over or missed Personal best Last period

Mood carries no streak and no score on purpose. It is the one input that can escalate, and a tile you are trying to win at is the wrong shape for it.

How it works

Three steps, and you can stop at any of them.

Tell Swell what you did, in one line.

"Ran 5k, chicken and rice, in bed at 11." One sentence, and the areas it touches update themselves.

It joins what you've entered across every area.

One place holding your food and your spending can put them side by side. That is the difference between a chart and a reading, and the reason all three areas sit in the same app rather than three.

It offers a habit. You take it or you don't.

Every suggestion arrives carrying the entries it came from. A task that can't name its source doesn't get written.

The method

What happens in between.

Four stages sit between what you tap and what you read. None of them invent anything you didn't put in.

Capture

Every sub-area declares what it collects

A meal, a set, a spend, a night, a note. Each sub-area is a definition rather than a screen, which is why turning one off removes it completely instead of hiding it.

Score

Growth outpaces decay, and decay stops

Entering something raises a sub-area's score quickly; quiet days let it drift down slowly toward a floor it never falls through. A bad month dents the picture rather than erasing it.

Read

Code does the arithmetic, language does the words

Totals and comparisons are computed the same way every time. Language only writes the sentence — and any figure it prints that wasn't in the data it was handed is rejected before you ever see it.

Plan

A task that can't name its source isn't shown

Once a week, per sub-area, Swell writes a short plan. Each task carries the entries it came from — and if the figures in it don't trace back to your own, it is dropped rather than printed.

The left column is yours. The middle column never asks a model for a total. The right-hand sentence is the only part written in language, and every figure in it has to appear in the middle column — a sentence carrying a number the data doesn't support is discarded rather than shown.

Principles

What Swell won't do.

Decisions made in the schema, where a future feature can't quietly undo them.

It suggests, it never insists

Nothing in Swell nags, scolds, or tells you you're behind. A suggestion you ignore is a suggestion you ignored.

Every suggestion traces back to your own numbers

Each one carries the entries it came from. If it can't name them, it isn't shown.

No target line on your weight

Direction only. Weight moves on water, salt and timing, so there's no streak and no score on it — the behaviour is what gets streaked.

It never tells you you're behind

A day with no entry is drawn as a gap, not a zero. Charts stop and restart rather than guessing.

Your health data is never sold

Never sold, never used for advertising, never mined. That is a rule about the business, not a setting.

No products, no picks

Swell shows where your money went and what repeats. It doesn't recommend accounts, choose investments, or tell you what to do with what's left.
